I’ll be delighted with whatever exciting major you decide to thrive in!” Give them the flexibility to discover the path that suits them best, including changing majors if they struggle in their initial choice. Changing majors is not a sign of failure, it’s a sign of intelligence: a wise recognition that their talents in addition to best career opportunities lie in a new direction.
